Sari Ladies Paper Cutting Series

Paper cutting art in black paper shows stylized woman wearing a sari in front of delicate geometric arabesque pattern.

Following a year of living in Bangladesh and traveling around Bangladesh, India, and Nepal, I was struck by the beauty and graceful lines I saw in the women wearing saris and the South Asian arabesque patterns and architecture I saw. I used this as inspiration for my latest series of paper cutting art.

I am participating in an art show and sale at First Mennonite Church in Indianapolis.
